Checking Student Grades
Steps to viewing student grades:
1. Set up an account.
2. Visit school to obtain your student's ID number an Pin number.
3. Add a student to your account.
4. Use the system to view your student's grades.
How to set up my account:
At this next login screen, click on "Click here to sign up" at the bottom left
This brings you to the parent sign up page. Follow the instructions on the screen by filling in the required information.
Then read the User Agreement and click the "I agree to the above terms of usage"
Click Sign Up at the bottom of the entire screen
How to obtain a student ID number and Pin number:
How to add a student to my account:
You will see a welcome message once you login. Click on the bottom text, "Add a student to my account."
Complete
the online information for your student. Be sure to obtain the pin
number and ID number before you do this. Once completed, click submit
at the bottom.
How to use the Parent Portal to view my students grades:
You
can then click on the categories to the left to obtain information
about specific assignments, overall grades, attendance records, and you
can even program it to send a text message to you when your student's
grades go above or below a certain grade. Below is an overview of each
category.
Assignments:
You can view assignments given and graded in every class for your
student. Use the Display drop down and the regading cycle to search for
grades in specific classes for each grading cycle.
Class:This will specify who will be teaching the class and what the grading scale will be.
Grades:
This will show a summary of student averages up to date. You can click
on "Notes" to send a note to a teacher within the Gradebook system.
Attendance: This will display a list of absences and tardies listed for your student.
Report Cards: You can view a student's report card for the current grading period online.
Triggers:
You can program the system to send an email or text message to you when
your student's grade goes above or below the percentage you designate.
Calendar:
This is available to alert you of district wide events. For more
specific Cuffe events, see our calendar page. Manage Students: Click on this to Add an additional student to your account.
